Our story.

We believe your interiors should tell your story. Founded in 2024, our grained journey began with a simple idea: to transform locally sourced reclaimed timber into unique interior accessories that add depth, character, and purpose to your spaces.

As our sole artisan, Ajay is the creative force behind grained. With over 20 years of woodworking experience, he handcrafts each original design from our Melbourne studio. His passion for revealing the beauty in every grain inspired our brand name.

Behind the scenes, Kerrie curates our brand presence and guides each limited-edition piece of furniture, lighting, and decor from our workshop to your home or workspace.
